Funeral services for Abby Lou Munson, 89 of Ace, TX will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston. Visitation Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 6-8 p.m.

Abby Lou Munson was born July 21, 1921 in Trinity, TX to Lula and Abner Allen. The family later moved to Romayor, TX where she lived until she married Louis Munson of Ace, TX. They lived in Anahuac and Sweeny, TX until retiring to Ace in 1980.

Abby is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Munson and daughter Andrea Kay Burt. Abby is Survived by sons Donald Munson of Livingston; Jummy Munson and wife Debbie of Ace; daughter Carolyn Gross and husband Paul of Houston; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Abby was blessed with many talents such as sewing, quilting, painting, gardening, but notably known for her cooking expertise. Nothing pleased her family and friends more than to be on the receiving end.

Before her illness, Abby was a faithful longtime member of Romayor Baptist Church in Romayor, TX. She loved her church, home, family and friends, Abby will be truly missed/
