A memorial service for Al Lamkin, 62, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2014 at First Assembly of God Church in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Larry Clift officiating.

Al Lamkin was born on May 5, 1951 in El Paso, Texas and passed away on January 13, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He worked as a computer programmer during his lifetime. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia (Duckworth) Lamkin.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Tedd) Lamkin of Onalaska, Texas; son, Travis Lamkin of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Melissa Lamkin of San Antonio, Texas and Jennifer Lamkin of San Antonio, Texas; step-children, Christopher Webb of Houston, Texas, Leslie Webb of Crosby, Texas, Frances Webb of Houston, Texas and Mary Webb of Washington; father, Alfred W. Lamkin of Dublin, Texas; brother, John Lamkin of Florida; sister, Marianne Lamkin of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda, Brittney, Jason, Kristina, Joseph, Matthew; ten great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
