Graveside services for Albert Joseph ""Joe"" Barta, age 81 of Onalaska will be held Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska on Sunday morning from 9:00 A.M. until service time.

Joe was born November 9, 1929 in Charlotte, Texas and passed away December 3, 2010 in Houston, Texas.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Kenneth Riley of Houston, son, Larry Joe Barta of Onalaska, sister, Grace, grandchildren, Shannon Gitchel and husband Dent of Morgantown, West Virginia, Kendall Gill and husband Erin of Houston, Stephen Riley and wife Jodie of Azle, great grandchildren, Kenneth Riley, Juliet Riley, Lilah Gitchel and Riley Gill. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
