Albert Richmond Sutton, 89, of Livingston, Texas, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, at his home. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at Menard Chapel Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Jeff Blizzard officiating.
Mr. Albert Sutton was a native of Livingston and lived the majority of his life in Port Arthur, Texas. He was employed as a pipefitter at the Port Arthur Texaco Refinery Plant, where he retired after 40 years.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Richmond Rodric Sutton and Jennie Lenora (Collins) Sutton; and son, Albert Sutton, Jr.
A loving and dedicated husband, father, paw paw, and great-paw paw, Albert loved his family and would do anything for them. He was a great role model to his family and friends. He enjoyed being outside, driving his tractor and tending the garden. He also liked to draw and paint.
Albert is survived by his wife, Patsy Lou Sutton of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Patricia Strange and husband Carlton of Groves, Texas, and Debra Vanya and husband Raymond of Votaw, Texas; grandchildren, LeeAnn Taylor, Jonathan Vanya, Jeremy Vanya, and Alyson Creel; and great grandchildren, Kaylee Taylor, Kinslee Taylor, Kylee Sheffield, Carson Vanya, Callen Vanya, Bransen Vanya, Blakely Vanya, Cohen Creel, and Jensen Creel; as well as numerous other loved ones and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers: Carlton Strange, Raymond Vanya, Doug Allen, Jonathan Vanya, Jeremy Vanya, and Adam Creel.
