Funeral services for Alex Stillman Claunch, 90, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, March 21, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.

Mr. Claunch was born December 22, 1925 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents, Robert Leon Claunch and Minnie Loretta (Roberts) Claunch, and passed away March 17, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Mildred Marie (Myers) Claunch; seven brothers, and one sister.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Stillman Claunch and Jeanie of Onalaska, Texas; grandson, Kenneth Alex Claunch of Onalaska, Texas; granddaughter, Shannon Smith and Michael of Onalaska, Texas; 10 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
