Funeral Services for Alex Flores, age 70, of Livingston will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Frank Aragon officiating the services at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the services in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 5:00 PM-10:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers for the services will be Eric Hagmeyer, Chris Reed, Jeremy Reed, Alex Reed, Keshaun Grant and Marcus Ojeda. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of his Poker Buddies.
He was born January 7, 1942 in Huntsville, Texas to parents, Simon Flores and Rafelia Valdez and passed away on October 9, 2012 in Livingston. Alex is preceded in death by his parents, Simon Flores and Rafelia Valdez; brother, Raymond Flores; sister, Mary Ann Simon; great grandson, Jeremy Ashton Reed.
Alex is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Julie Ann and Gary Reed, of Ringgold, Louisiana; daughter, Angela Flores, of Shreveport, Louisiana; son, Michael Lane Flores, of Livingston; son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Lee Flores, of Conroe; daughter, Denise Flores, of Houston; eleven grandchildren, Eric, Chris, Jeremy, Alex, Alicia, Amber, Alexis, Cody, Chelsea, Spencer and Keshaun; seven great grandchildren, Erica Ann, Jewell, Jeremy, Karson, Jayce, Kaydence and Bryson; sisters, Julia Duke, Virginia Taylor, Rosa Hollis, Louise Fernandez, Frances Flores, Delores Redden, Kathy Fernandez and Gloria Flores; sister-in-law, Ann Flores; numerous other relatives and friends.
