Funeral services for Alice C. Marion, age 89, of Onalaska, Texas will be Tuesday August 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Dale Snell officiating. Interment will be Thursday, August 4, 2011 in the Sinton Cemetery in Sinton, Texas at 11:00 AM.
She was born January 8, 1922 in Mobile, Alabama the daughter of Aaron Davis and Corine Bentley Davis and passed away July 30, 2011 in Lufkin, Texas. Alice is preceded in death by parents, Aaron Davis and Corine Bentley Davis, husband, William Henry Marion, son, Charles Marion, and brothers, Henry Davis and Cyrus Davis.
Alice is survived by Alice and Jimmy Dacus, daughter and son-in-law, of La Porte, Texas, Robert and Carla Marion, son and daughter-in-law, of Goodrich, Texas, 4 grandchildren, Monica Dacus Ball, Angie Dacus Ellis, Rachel Marion Meza, Clinton Everett Marion, 4 great grandchildren, Ashlin Marie Ellis, Cordell Dacus Ball, Kierstin Meza, and Kaitlyn Meza. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
