Memorial services for Alice Ruth Reed, 76, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas.

Alice was born October 22, 1947 in Conroe, Texas to parents Harvey Aquillan McElroy and Susan Lenora (Norvell) McElroy and passed away on January 18, 2024 in Onalaska, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Allen Reed; daughter, Destini Dyann Hiser; and brothers, John Richard Wolff, Paul Bradley Wolff and Joseph McElroy.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Gilmore Watts and Rodney of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Sean-Michael Patrick Gilmore and Rhonda of Onalaska, Texas; grandchildren, Hayden Patrick Lynch, Collin Keith Lynch. Brennan Gilmore, Connor Gilmore, Caleb Friend and Tyler Holst; and brother, H.N. McElroy of Spring, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
