Funeral services for Alice Alene Thompson, 84, of Corrigan, Texas, will be held Monday, November 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Corrigan, Texas with Bro. Larry Trest and Bro. Buster Grigg officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in the Barnum Community. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 3, 2019, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Corrigan, Texas.

Alice Alene Thompson was born September 11, 1935 in Kosoma, Oklahoma, to parents, John Henry and Goldie (Osgood) Savage, and passed away November 1, 2019 in Corrigan, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Clyde Thompson; brothers, Eugene Savage and Raymond Savage; daughters-in-law, Carolyn Thompson and Debra Thompson

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her sons, Jimmy Thompson of Crockett, Texas, Terry Thompson and Lisa of Huntington, Texas, Marty Thompson and Suzanne of Chester, Texas; daughter, Carolyn Cowan and Jimmy of Corrigan, Texas; grandchildren; Jason and Michelle Cowan, Jeremy and Jamie Cowan, all from Chester, Texas, Ashlyn and Jeremiah Dickson of Madisonville, Texas. Cash Thompson of Crockett, Texas, Tyler Thompson of Huntington, Texas, Taylor and Justin White of Chester, Texas Charity Thompson of Haughton. Louisiana, Gator and Lindsey Thompson of Chester, Texas and Billy Thompson of Chester, Texas, (USMC); great-grandchildren, J.J. Cowan, Haley Cowan, Brianna Cowan, Anthony White, Alyssa White, Ria Tullos, Hunter Cowan, Reid Cowan, Riley Dickson, Reed Dickson, Reagan Dickson, Jaxson White; sister Pauline Johnston and David; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Mrs. Thompson will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers: Cash Thompson, Gator Thompson, Billy Thompson, Jeremy Cowan, Tyler Thompson and Jason Cowan.
