Funeral services for Aline Agnes Fisher, of Goodrich, Texas, will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor John Moye officiating. Visitation will be held the day of service from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Aline passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024 at the age of 101. She was born April 11, 1922, to Beatrice Aucoin and Julius Guidry. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Alford "Doc" Fisher; parents; son, James Fisher; and daughter, Edith Stell.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Wesley Stell and wife Sheryl, Shauna McGee and husband Tim, Deana Wier and husband Scott, Ronnie Fisher, Donald Fisher and wife Amy, Tanya Francq and husband Doug; as well as numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other loved ones and friends.

Aline was a long-time resident of the Sleepy Hollow Estates in Goodrich, Texas, and was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Goodrich.  She was also active in her community through organizations such as Polk County Mission Center, Habitat for Humanity, and the Health Board. She was generous in providing needed assistance to other individuals and groups in the community. Aline will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Goodrich.
