Mr. Allen Edward Barron, 76, of Onalaska, Texas was born on July 17, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to parents, William Edward Barron and Virginia Hope (Haggard) Barron and passed away August 31, 2018 in Onalaska, Texas. During his life, Allen was a petroleum laboratory worker in Indonesia, China, Iran, and Venezuela. He was also involved in environmental remediation and insurance environmental risk control. In his free time, Allen enjoyed drag racing, vintage cars, boating, fishing, and spending time with his Black Lab, Shadow. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dixie Barron of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Melissa Culver of Buchanan, Georgia; grandchildren, Chris Bilbro of Sanford, Florida, Patience Neal of Buchanan, Georgia, and Bobby Allen Risenhoover of Salisaw, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Mason Bilbro of Sanford, Florida, and Tristan Risenhoover and Jolene Risenhoover both of Salisaw, Oklahoma; aunt, Mitzi Haggard-Gold of New York; and cousin, Josh Gold of New York; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
