Funeral services for Alta Louise Armstrong, 68, of Spring, Texas, will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at the Restland Memorial Park in Goodrich, Texas.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service time.

Alta Louise Armstrong was born October 18, 1952 in Houston, Texas to parents James Blackburn and Joe Ann (Whitaker) Blackburn, and passed away November 27, 2020 in Spring, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Alta is survived by her husband, Adam Armstrong, Sr. of Spring, Texas; daughters, Linda Court of Houston, Texas, Annette Stewart of Mississippi, Rachael Potts of Spring, Texas, and Kathryn Shryock of Livingston, Texas; step-sons, Daniel Armstrong, of Tomball, Texas. Adam Armstrong, Jr. of Spring, Texas; step-daughters, Holly Armstrong and Laura Armstrong, both from Massachusetts; 29 grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; aunt and uncle Billie and Raymond Hairell; brother, Terry Reardon; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
