Funeral services for Angel Ortega, 41, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., just prior to the service in the Cochran Funeral Home.

Angel Ortega was born February 5, 1980 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to parents, Miguel Angel Ortega and Minerva Cruz, and passed away September 29, 2021 in Kingwood, Texas.  He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Agapito Cruz.

Angel is survived by his wife Candiace (Chavez) Ortega of Livingston, Texas; sons, Miguel Angel Ortega and Emilio Javier Ortega of Livingston, Texas; father, Miguel Angel Ortega of Livingston, Texas; mother, Minerva Cruz, also of Livingston, Texas; sisters, Juana Ortega of Los Gatos, California and Marisa Ortega of Livingston, Texas; brothers, Luis Ortega of Tamuin, Mexico and Jesus Ortega of Livingston, Texas; sisters, Leticia Ortega of Livingston, Texas, Victoria Ortega of Lufkin, Texas, Daniela Ortega and Gladis Ortega, both of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and and friends.
