Ansa Parrish age 68 of Livingston passed away on Monday August 24, 2009 in Houston. A memorial service will be held in her honor Saturday August 29, 2009 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Orval Barger officiating. Visitation will be Friday August 28, 2009 also in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00PM until 8:00PM.

Ansa was born December 4, 1940 in Warren, Texas to parents Henry Mathews and Vallie Martha Ada Bush Mathews. She is preceded in death by her parents,husband Rev. Dewey Parrish, two sisters Marzie Brown and Elsie Wilson and brother Rev. H.A. Mathews.

She is survived by son Stephen Parrish of Livingston, daughter and son in law Debbie and Joey Stuckey of Spring, and daughter Anne Parrish of Livingston. She is also survived by her grandchildren Crystal McBride and husband Victor of Livingston, Justin Parrish of Austin, Courtney Parrish of Livingston, Jessica Ellis and husband Shayne of Livingston, Ty Stuckey of Spring, Kendall Stuckey of Spring, and Mathew Parrish of Livingston, and great grandchildren Isabel McBride of Livingston and Colin McBride of Livingston.

Serving as pallbearers will be David McLendon, Ty Stuckey, Keith Wilson, Victor McBride, Tom Burleson, Ben Burleson.
