Funeral services for Anthony Roosevelt Hilliard, age 62, of Livingston will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Ridley Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Madison, Mississippi, with Rev. Keith Rouser officiating, and interment to follow in the Ridley Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gerald Washington, Roderick Hilliard, Glenn Burnett, Bennie Sanders, Hutsut Redd, Jr., and Carl Burnett. Flower Bearers will be Sherry Taylor, Fayester Bester, Paula Hopkins, Shannon Hilliard, Patricia Sanders and Meleka Burnett.

Anthony was born July 6, 1946 in Madison, Mississippi, the son of Anthony & Alberta Powell Hilliard, Sr., and passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in Lufkin, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Walton Hilliard, brother, Joe Albert Hilliard, brother, Betty Nell, sister, and Doristine Redd, sister.

He is survived by Elois Hilliard, wife of 42 years, of Livingston, Calvin D. Hilliard, son, of Madison, Mississippi, Anthony R. & Jaimee Hilliard III, son & daughter in law of Keller, Texas, Vickie L. Hilliard, daughter of Spring, Texas, Gerrod L. Hilliard, grandson, of Spring, Cody Dupas, grandson, of Spring, Caliyah N. Hilliard, granddaughter of Jackson, Mississippi, and Hollis & Shirley Hilliard, brother & sister in law of Madison, Mississippi.
