Obit for Aretta Kelley

Funeral services for Aretta Kelley, age 66 of Livingston, TX will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Rev. Larry Shine will conduct the services. Pallbearers are David Kennedy, Jason Calvet, Dennis Reeves, Ryan Kelley, Austin Reeves and Dylan Reeves. Internment will follow the chapel service at Bluff Creek Cemetery.

Aretta was born on April 17, 1945 in Brownfield, TX to parents, George C. Nowell and Etta Smith Nowell. She married Odis Gene Kelley in Livingston. Aretta was a member of Soda Baptist Church and loved her family as they loved her. She passed away on March 27, 2012 in Livingston.

Aretta is preceded in death by per parents, George Nowell and Etta Nowell. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Odis Gene Kelley of Livingston; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Vicky Lynn Kelley of Livingston, Donna Gail & David Kennedy of Livingston, Tammy Leann and Dennis Reeves of Evadale, TX; one son, Michael Gene Kelley of Livingston; brother, Marvin Nowell of Maybank, TX; sister, Evelyn Louise Marshall of Livingston; five grandchildren, Jason, Audriana, Ryan, Austin and Dylan; and one great grandchild, Kellton.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston.
