Funeral services for Arty Bell Golsby, age 90, of Rye, Texas will be held April 20, 2009 in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home at 10:00am with Rev. David Jones officiating with interment to follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Golsby, Steven Canterberry, Stephanie Turner, Carl Lee Stoddard, Rex Darden, Jacob Doughty, Mark Golsby, Donald Ray Golsby, Mark Esters, and Bradley Beaugh. Honorary Pallbearer will be Dewayne Canterberry.
She was born May 5, 1918 in Marion, Louisiana the daughter of L.G. & Bell Harrison Canterberry and passed away April 15, 2009 in Cleveland, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Webster Ray Golsby, Sr., 1, brother, 5, sisters, and 1, grandchild.
She is survived by Floyd Canterberry, son, of Grayson, Louisiana, Webster R. Golsby, Jr., son, of Livingston, Texas, Johnnie Lee Golsby, son, of Livingston, Texas, Sandra Elaine Landrum, daughter of Downsville, Louisiana, Shirley Ann Copeland, daughter, of Houston, Virginia Golsby, daughter of Rye, Texas, Gloria Jean Cernosek, daughter of Pasadena, Texas, Wreather Pilgreen, sister of Broussard, Louisiana, Christine Fowler, Marion, Louisiana, Lizzie Reppond, sister of Marion, Louisiana, 15, grandchildren, 29, great grandchildren, and 7, great great grandchildren.
