Austin W. Stutts, age 75 of Onalaska, Texas, passed away on February 12, 2013, in Onalaska. Austin was born on September 16, 1937 in Houston, Texas, to parents, Howard Woodbury and Blythe Mozell Vaughn Stutts.

Austin is preceded in death by both of his parents; son, Michael Stutts; sisters, Marilyn Patricia Stutts, Lavaun Smith, and Janice Angle; brothers, Billy Stutts, Sr., Jack Stutts, Sr., and Wilburn Stutts. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Stutts, of Onalaska, Texas; son, David Brian Stutts, of Onalaska, Texas; daughters, Pamela Ann Wilson, of Jacksonville, Florida, Lisa Kay Halpin, of Media, Pennsylvania, Traci Elaine Alexander, of La Porte, Texas, and Kelly DeAnn Stutts, of Onalaska, Texas; brothers, Bob Stutts and James Armond ""Juke"" Stutts, both of Onalaska, Texas; grandchildren, Melissa Halpin, Anthony Halpin, Nicholas Alexander, and Michael Alexander; great-grandchildren, Matthew Halpin and Daniel Halpin; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Austin W. Stutts will be held, Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 10:00 AM, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas. Rev. Dennis Hodge will be officiating the service. Military honors will be provided by VFW Honor Guard Post #8568.
