Following a visitation on July 29, 2011, from 5:00-7:00pm, funeral services for Barbara Elizabeth Kerr, age 67, of Clute , Texas will be held Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston , Texas, with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Interment will follow thereafter in Peebles Cemetery . Barbara was born July 21, 1944 in Livingston , Texas the daughter of James H. Ainsworth and Mary Delie Thomas Ainsworth and, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Houston , Texas . A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and pursuing her favorite hobbies, which included photography, gardening, and taking care of her pets. Her laughter and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew her.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, James H. Ainsworth and Mary Delie Thomas Ainsworth, her brothers, James Marion Ainsworth and Robert Daniel Ainsworth, and her sisters, Margie Pearline Bowen and Rosie Marie Dillard. Barbara is survived by William Boyd Kerr, son, of Brenham, Texas, Tommy and Mary Kerr, son and daughter-in-law, of San Antonio, Texas, Kenneth and Julie Kerr, son and daughter-in-law, of Sugarland, Texas, William Arthur Ainsworth, brother, Ella Catherine Riley, sister, Delie Ann Carter, sister, Mary Louise Shannon, sister, Clarence Lee Ainsworth and Willie Mae Ainsworth, brother and sister-in-law, grandchildren, Brandon Kerr, Valerie Kerr and Ryan Kerr. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
