Funeral services for Barbara Ann Nelson, 79, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Monday, July 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Pine Forest Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Sean Ferry officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service begins in the Pine Forest Baptist Church.

Mrs. Nelson was born June 1, 1940 in Longview, Texas, to parents, Basil Lloyd Freeman and Eula Ann (Beall) Freeman, and passed away July 4, 2019 in Onalaska, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Nelson; sister, Kathryn Freeman; and brother, Lloyd Freeman.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Daniel Nelson of Onalaska; daughter, Cathi Lynne Nelson of Tomball; grandsons, Daniel Nelson of Onalaska and Matthew Nelson of Magnolia; brother, Jimmy Freeman of Longview; sister, Judy Freeman of Longview; sister-in-law, Geneva Haley and husband, Tom of Wimberly; sister-in-law, Ruby Freeman of Orange; and cousins, Danny Selman and Dwayne Selman both of Pflugerville; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
