Funeral services for Barbara Jean Rivers, 61, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Allen Bramlett officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Ivie Cemetery in Kennard, Texas. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the service begins at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

Ms. Rivers was born December 23, 1959 in Montgomery County, Texas to parents, Otis W. Rivers and Lucille (Henry) Rivers, and passed away February 25, 2021 in Lufkin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Dale White.

She is survived by her sisters, Sharon Dowdy and husband, Mark, and Karen Lynn Rivers; brothers, Vick White and Otis Wesley Rivers; cousins, Candice Davies and husband, Zach, Carlton Ramirez (favorite) and wife, Melanie, and Paul Ramirez; and special friends, Stella Murphy and Pastor Tom Owens; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
