Barbara Annette Simien, 62, of Onalaska, Texas, was born February 17, 1961 in Robertsdale, Alabama and passed away June 9, 2023 in Onalaska, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Hughen and Barbara Allen; and brothers, Billy Hughen and John Wesley Hughen.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Joe Simien of Houston, Texas; son, Joseph Simien III and wife Shannon of Phoenix, Arizona; grandson, Joey Simien; granddaughter, Phoebe Simien; sister, Samantha Sackett; and brother, Tony Hughen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
