Obituary
Funeral services for Beamon Ray Goodwin, 71, of Liberty, Texas, will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Daryl Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Menard Chapel Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Goodwin was born June 27, 1943 in Livingston, Texas to parents, J.M. "Buddy" Goodwin and Elsie (Henson) Goodwin, and passed away November 20, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. During his life he touched everyone in a very special way and he was loved by a lot of people. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cherly Ann "Holder" Goodwin; and nephew, Kenny Sloane.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Cecil Goodwin and Patty of Liberty, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Danford and Danny of Thicket, Texas and Frances Disotell and Red of Rye, Texas; nephews and nieces, David Goodwin, Sherry Goodwin, Kathy Nelson, Kim Bush and James Sloane; great-nieces and nephews, Klint Bush, Kelly Bush, Ashley Nelson, Eric Nelson and Kade Goodwin; great-great niece, Avy Bush; numerous other relatives and friends.
