Funeral services for Bernice Marie Stark, 86, of Onalaska, Texas will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held on the day of service, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Bernice was born May 14, 1939, in Needville, Texas and passed away October 24, 2025, in Webster, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil Ed Svec and Edna Malinda Beckman Svec; and husband, Joseph Earl Stark; sons, Charles Stark and Larry Stark; and daughter, Brenda Stark.

She is survived by her son, James Earl Stark and wife Donna of Cuero, Texas; grandson, Hunter Stark; and great grandson, Aiden Stark; along with numerous other loved ones and friends.

Bernice will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers Chad Stark, Randy Stark, Lonnie Stark, Chet Palmer, Curtis Wilie and John Brewer.
