Obituary
Bessie Mae Johnson 92 of Livingston passed away Sunday July 26, 2009. Funeral services will be Thursday July 30, 2009 at 11:00AM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Willis, Rev. James Frazier and Dr. Robbie Roberison officiating. A private family graveside service will follow in the Magnolia Hill Cemetery in Segno. Visitation will be Wednesday July 29, 2009 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.
Bessie was born March 8, 1917 in Segno to parents James B. Medearis and Theresa Knight Medearis. She worked for many years as a licensed LVN in our community.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gayle Johnson.
Bessie is survived by her daughter Nancy Lowery and husband Bill of Houston, grandchildren Michael Ward of Phoenix, AR., and Tammy Dillon of Houston, and cousin Raymond Knight of Segno.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bob Willis, Bill Willis, Tommy Duke, Dr. Bud Robinson, John Gardner, Leamon Cain, Richard Dziubanek. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Knight, Dr. J.T. Dabney, Dr. Raymond Neuman, and The Seekers Sunday School Class.
In lieu of flowers the family has ask that you make donations to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
