A Celebration of Life for Betty Darlene Cates, 67, of Crockett, Texas, will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the home of her daughter Camillia Fiscal, in Livingston, Texas.

Betty was born April 19, 1959, in Pasadena, Texas and passed away on April 29, 2026, in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Calvin Eugene Cates; daughter, Heather Gomez; companion, Anselmo Valdez Jr.; and sister, Shelia Dale Sills.

She is survived by her mother, Carmel Sills; daughter and son-in-law, Camillia Fiscal and Mario; grandchildren, Karina Hennessey, Christina White, Jordan Fiscal, Robert Fiscal, Damion Fiscal, and Anthony Torres; great grandchildren, Kasen, Mavrick, Gavin, Anthony, King and Davina; brothers, Matthew Cates, Marvin Cates, David Cates, Ronnie Sills, Billy Sills, Billy Earl Sills, and Charles Cates; sisters, Donna Cates and Debbie Matthew; and special friend, Ms. Cindy; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
