Funeral services for Betty Jean Gregory, 73, of Woodville, Texas will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Minister Stacey Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Ms. Gregory was born on October 9, 1944 in Trinity, Texas to parents, Charlie Wilmer Groze Sr., and Valley Faye Blair, and passed away September 27, 2018 in Woodville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Gregory; sisters, Jandell Jones, Sally Loftin, and Margie McNeese; and brothers, Sonny Man Groze Jr., and Jimmy Ray Groze.

She is survived by her husband, Obie Daniels of Woodville, Texas; son, James Moore of Pennington, Texas; daughter, Lisa Simpson of Goodrich, Texas; son, Kenneth Moore of Cleveland, Texas; son, Cody Gregory of Shepherd, Texas; brother, Ernest Groze of New Caney, Texas; brother, Benny Earl Groze of Trinity, Texas; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
