Funeral services for Betty Jane James, 75 of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Wayne Bickley officiating. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. James was born February   14, 1941 in Jourdonton, Texas to parents, William Bryan and Emeral (McDonald) Bryan, and passed away March 30, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, William C. James, which would have been 54 years; parents; brother, James Bryan; sister, Marilyn; grandson, Richard James Jr.; granddaughter, Tonya James; and some other relatives.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jimmy B. Simmons of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, William and Melissa James of Livingston, Texas; son, Richard James of Livingston, Texas; son, Kenneth James of Livingston, Texas; granddaughters, Jackie and husband Levi Weatherford of Rye, Texas, Christina Merino of Livingston, Texas, Joy Baletka and husband Clayton Shaw of Houston, Texas, Crystal and husband Paul Valderez of Livingston, Texas, Brittany James of Lumberton, Texas, and Ashley Joubert of Livingston, Texas; grandsons, Billy Baletka Jr. of Livingston, Texas, Don Bullock of Livingston, Texas, Clifford James of Livingston, Texas, Brandon James of Livingston, Texas; 21 great grandchildren; brother, John Bryan; sister, Lucille Vance; sister-in-law, Joy Bryan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
