Obituary
Memorial services for Betty Ann Lawson, 75, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Monday, July 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Don Wilkey officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, July 18, 2016 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m.
Mrs. Lawson was born August 29, 1940 in Nowata, Oklahoma to parents, Robert Oral Curnutte and Mary (Camden) Curnutte, and passed away July 11, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Ruben Lawson; and sister, Louise Campbell.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Buddy and Margaret Wilson Sr. of Rosharon, Texas and Bobby and Una Lawson Sr. of Alvin, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Mike Johnson of Onalaska, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Ida Curnutte of Markham, Texas; grandson, Cody Johnson of Onalaska, Texas; granddaughters, Charlie Rice of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Monica Comte of Onalaska, Texas, Clara Sliger and husband, James of Onalaska, Texas, and Ashley Rivera and husband, Josh of Rosharon, Texas; grandsons, Buddy Wilson Jr, and wife, Cheyenne of North Carolina, and B.J. Lawson Jr.; granddaughter, Stephanie Lawson; grandson, Franklin Lawson of Alvin, Texas; granddaughter, Jennifer Hammond of Alvin, Texas; great-grandchildren, Micah Rice, Steven Comte, Daisy Ann Sliger, Paxton Sliger, and Alyssa Hammond; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
