Obituary
Betty Lou Lester Jones, 61, of Livingston, Texas was born on June 22, 1955 in Diboll, Texas to parents, Tommy Lester and Delma Ray Thornton Lester. She left this earthly world on March 4, 2017.
She married Roy Jones on July 28, 1972 and became known as Mrs. Betty Jones. They had a wonderful 45 years together. Together they would have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She spent her time on earth as a helper and nurturer for any who were in need. If you needed a place to stay, there was always a bed. If you were hungry, there was always a warm plate and a smile. She held onto life well past the point of comfort to see her family. She was caring and selfless in all that she did.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Tommy Mack, Delma Ray and Dennis Lester; nephews, Joshua Lester and "Little Bruce" Lester; and granddaughter, Ashlynn Rose Patrick. She is survived by her husband, Roy Jones; daughters, Jennifer Harris, and Valerie Jones and husband, Rodney Patrick; sons, Russell Jones and wife, Candance, and Mark Jones and wife, Angel; grandchildren, Peyton Mangrum, Chelsea Mangrum, Autumn Moore, Jacob Harris, Morgan Jones, Kenzie Jones, Logan Patrick, Levi Patrick, John Clowers, Brad Clowers, Breezie Clowers, and Zoey Clowers; great-grandson, Sebastian Johnson; along with numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews whom she loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the family home.
