Funeral services for Betty Jane Mahrer, 97, of Ace, Texas will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Chris Knox officiating. Visitation will be held the day of service, from 9:00-10:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will take place Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Betty was born July 24, 1927 in Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania and passed away January 2, 2025 in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Hunsicker and Mamie (Krause) Hunsicker; husband, Harry Mahrer; and son, Timothy Mahrer.

She is survived by her son, James Mahrer of Ace, Texas; granddaughter, Shawnee Moss and husband Justin of Conroe, Texas; and grandson, Shawnn Mahrer and wife Tia of Houston, Texas; along with numerous other loved ones and friends.
