Graveside services for Betty Gail McCarty, 66, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, Texas with Bro. Steve Waldrep officiating.

Betty was born July 1, 1956 in Livingston, Texas and passed away August 18, 2022 in Katy, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Junior Sanders and Wanda Ruth (Bryce) Sanders; husband, Jessie McCarty; daughter, Julie Gorday; and grandson, Jessie Gorday.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Aaron Rothman of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Randy Steppe of Trinity, Texas; daughter, Linda McCarty of Trinity, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, James and Jessica McCarty of Trinity, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, David and Courtney McCarty of Onalaska, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley Bryant, Theodore Bryant, Matthew Gorday, Joseph Gorday, Alyssa Steppe, Rikki Steppe, Brieanna McCarty, Jessie McCarty, Addison McCarty, Cooper McCarty, Kinsley McCarty, and Bryaden McCarty; great grandchildren, Kaelynn Bryant, Autumn Bryant, Luke Bryant, and Rihanna Bryant; two brothers; and two sisters; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
