Betty Jo Messick, 90, of Livingston, Texas was born September 5, 1929 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Isaac Alexander Sr. and Josie (Hilton) Alexander, and passed away September 3, 2020 in Livingston, Texas. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church Livingston. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Messick; sons, Mike Messick and Steve Messick; son-in-law, Jack Jones; and brothers, Earl Alexander, Murl Alexander, and Perry Alexander.

Mrs. Messick is survived her daughter, Vicki Jones of Livingston, Texas; grandson and wife, Ethan Messick and Codey of New Braunfels, Texas; grandson and wife, Kevin Walker and Natalie of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; granddaughter and husband, Amanda and Jeremy Lauret of Baytown, Texas; granddaughter, Jennifer Leigh of Livingston, Texas; six great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and brothers, Isaac Alexander Jr. of Livingston, Texas, Hilton Alexander of Baytown, Texas, and Joe Alexander of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
