Funeral services for Betty Jo Pharris, 74, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Monday, March 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bishop Earl Thrift officiating. Interment will follow in the Restwood Cemetery in Clute, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Pharris was born December 12, 1941 in Ace, Texas to parents, Rudolph Miles Kiechler and Josephine Rose (Ukmar) Kiechler, and passed away March 17, 2016 in Onalaska, Texas.

Betty Jo Pharris was a beloved wife, loving mother and a caring grandmother. She was a long time member of the Mormon Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Pharris of Onalaska, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Don McBride Jr. of Onalaska, Texas; son, Johnny Pharris of Onalaska, Texas; son, Steven Pharris of Freeport, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Billie D. Kiechler of Brazoria, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Pharris will be escorted to her grave by Pallbeares: Ronald Lake, Jonathan Fraley, Mark Fraley, Chris Martinez, Charles Martin, and Tyler Thompson.
