Funeral services for Betty Carmen Sims, 84, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in The First Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Alan Bramlett officiating. Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday December 16, 2020 in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m., in the church.

Mrs. Sims was born December 16, 1935 in Livingston, TX to parents Benjamin Harrison Hines and Ruby Mae (Matlock) Hines, and passed away December 12, 2020 in Odessa, Texas. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 64 years Jesse J. Sims; her parents, her brother Byron Hines; daughter in law Shannon Sims; Brother in laws J. W. Sims, Bob Green and Allen Osbourne; and Sister in Laws Pearl Hampton and Dorothy Green.

She is survived by her sons William D. Sims of Livingston, Texas, and Barry L. Sims and wife Trena of Odessa, Texas; Grandchildren Martha Phillips and husband Ethan, Jared Sims and fiancée Ashley Englund, Ben Sims, Sarah Garner and husband Brady; Great Grandchildren Hayes Lynch, Samuel Phillips, and Jackson Phillips; Sister in Laws, Doris Hines, Elaine Osbourne, and Shirley Vickson; and brother in laws Billy Green and Wife Marguerite; along with numerous other family and friends.
