Mrs. Betty Jo Syms, 83, of Livingston, Texas was born, July 11, 1935 in South Charleston, West Virginia, to parents, Earl Gillispie and Opal (Justice) Gillispie, and passed away December 16, 2018 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Syms of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Melissa Syms of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Shirley Syms of Yukon, Oklahoma; and granddaughter, Cheyenne Syms; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
