Memorial services for Betty Lee Vaughan, 81, of Goodrich, Texas will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Pastor David Emmons and Pastor Pedro Reyes officiating.
Mrs. Vaughan was born June 9, 1935 in Marlin, Texas to parents, Lee Roy Singletary and Ida Frances (Spicer) Singletary, and passed away July 16, 2016 in Goodrich, Texas. During her life, she was a wonderful artist and has various paintings in offices and restaurants around Livingston. She was involved in her church and started the church band at The Church at Goodrich. Betty was a fantastic cook, a loving mother and wife. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Vaughan; and brother, Jimmy Singletary.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Vaughan of Goodrich, Texas; daughter, Edna Spicer of Goodrich, Texas; grandchildren, Donovon Spicer, Erin Clark, Mark Vaughan Jr., and Cindy Vaughan; 13 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
