Funeral services for Bill Wood, 71, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Steve Waldrep officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9th, in the Whitehead Cemetery in Grapeland, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.

Mr. Wood was born April 10, 1948 in Houston, Texas to parents, Oscar T. Wood and Ruth (Kelly) Wood, and passed away October 5, 2019 in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Wood; daughters, Lisa McCain and husband, Daniel, and Gina Crunk; sons, Nicholas Wood, Carey Clark, and Sean McGilvary and wife, Serena; grandchildren, Heather Wood, Hadden Clark, Conner Clark, Bryan Crunk, Peyton Clark, Grayson Clark, Jacob McCain, and Haylee Furlow; great-grandchildren, Korben Potts, Kira Palermo, and Ellie Wood; brother, Ricky Wood and wife, Debbie; and nephew, Terry Wood; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
