Funeral services for Billie Jane Clarke, 84, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Prairie Cemetery in Leggett, Texas. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, August 31, 2014 also at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.

Ms. Clarke was born on September 26, 1929 in Livingston, Texas to parents, J.L. Clarke, Sr. and Meadie (Swilley) Clarke and passed away on August 28, 2014 after a brief illness at Cornerstone Hospital in Conroe, Texas. She was a graduate of Livingston High School and spent her whole life in the Livingston area.

She is preceded in death by her parents, J.L. Meadie Lee Clarke; sisters, Jewell Denton, Juarine Peters, Margaret Beatrice Mitchamore, and Elizabeth Dorris; brothers, J.L. Clarke, Jr., and Jimmy Clarke.

She is survived by her sister, Rebecca Ann Isaac and husband, James Marvin of Livingston; nieces, Kathy Ringo and husband, Richard of Livingston, Debbie Isaac Cooper of Livingston, Rhonda Cox and husband Randy of Livingston, Barbara Ann Milner and husband Lewis of Livingston, Amy Clarke Palmer of Allen, Judy Holder of Conroe, Sandy White and husband, Gordon of Houston, Peggy Connelly and husband, Hulett of Centerville, Sue Gates of Montgomery, Margaret Dorris of Dallas, and Nancy Dorris of Dallas; nephews, Gene Hanson and wife Rose of Point Blank, Jackie Peters and wife of Shepherd, Larry Peters of Livingston, Wayne Peters and wife, Cindy of Livingston, Ricky Peters and wife, Marilyn of Livingston, Randy Peters of Livingston, Bobby Peters and wife, Sara of Livingston, and James Lee Clarke and wife, D.A. of Livingston; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
