Funeral services for Billie Jean McKelvey, 86, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas, with Brother Brad Butler and Brother Brett Lester officiating. Interment will follow at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston.

Billie Jean was born April 25, 1936 in Hightower, Texas, to parents Thomas C. Brasher and Alice Marie (Vickery) Brasher and passed away November 5, 2022. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom McKelvey; parents; the father of her two eldest daughters, Harold Gann; daughter, Julie Anne McKelvey; granddaughter, Madisyn Farrington; great granddaughter, Caroline Parrish; brothers, Wilburn and Carl Vickery; and sisters, Lucille Leviness, Christine Quinn, Lucy Larsh, and Betty Jo Vickery.

She is survived her daughters, Keri Parrish and husband Dale, Karyn Jeannine Robertson and husband Barry; son, Clint McKelvey; daughter, Jami McKelvey; grandchildren, Brandi Hall, Michael Dale Parrish, Matthew Robertson, Joseph Robertson, Kaileigh McKelvey, Lynnedi Jones, Kooper Kirkpatrick and Thomas McKelvey; and great grandchildren, Allissa Hall, Michayla Hall, Huck Robertson, Molly Robertson, James Parrish and Anna Parrish; along with numerous other relatives, loved ones and friends.
