Billy Ray Baletka

Funeral services for Billy Ray Baletka, 64, of Livingston, Texas will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Alex Garber officiating. Interment will follow at Camp Ruby Cemetery. Visitation will be held on the day of service, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.

Billy was born October 16, 1961, in Galena Park, Texas and passed away April 3, 2026, in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond John Baletka and Joy Noresa Maness Baletka; and sister, Brenda Beall.

He is survived by his daughter, Joy Baletka; son, Billy Baletka Jr.; stepdaughter, Christina Merino; granddaughter, Angel Robertson; grandson, Brennan Baletka; sister, Lanie Whitton and Rusty; sister, Sharon Vaughn and George Becker; brother, Art “Bubba” Baletka and Yoly; sister Vickie Baletka-George and Ken; sister, Debbie Spencer; cousin, Randy Roberson; and extra special friend, Joyce Schwertzman; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to SPCA of Livingston or Habitat for Humanity of Livingston in Billy’s honor.
