Billy Joe Boyd 70 of Livingston passed away Tuesday January 19, 2009 in Livingston. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Thursday January 22, 2009 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston with Bro. Harold Isaacs officiating. Burial will follow in Menard Chapel Cemetery.

Billy was born September 24, 1939 in Falls County, Texas to parents J.C. Boyd and Viola Lewis Boyd Degataire. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Mary Louise Windham.

He is survive by his son Billy Joe Boyd Jr. of Houston, daughter Toni Rena Boyd Newman and husband Kenneth of Livingston, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his nieces Teresa Guinn of Livingston, and Mary Windham of Houston.
