Funeral services for Billy Gordon Burnett, 85, of Athens, Texas will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Northview Baptist Church in Humble, Texas with Rev. Jim Moore officiating. Interment will take place in the Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018.

Mr. Burnett was born November 1, 1932 in Houston, Texas to parents, Lundy T. Burnett and Cora (Parker) Burnett, and passed away August 22, 2018 in Athens, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Claudia Maxine Warnke.

He is survived by his son, B.J. Burnett and wife, Judy of Humble, Texas; daughter, Sandra Bonanno Zapp and husband, Larry of Tomball, Texas; granddaughter, Anna Marie; and sister, Carmen Hobbs of Conroe, Texas; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
