Billy Ray Cherry, age 65, of Livingston, Texas, passed away on March 29, 2013 in Livingston. Billy was born on June 22, 1947, in Liberty, Texas to parents, Garland H. and Florence Yeager Cherry.

Billy is preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife, Peggy Cherry. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Schoubrock, of Livingston; daughter, Rhonda Helpenstill, of Livingston; granddaughter, Brittany Cherry, of Livingston; granddaughter, LaShawnda Daniels, of Houston; granddaughter, Jamie Hansen, of Leggett; granddaughter, Raylyn Schoubroek, of Livingston, Texas; great-granddaughter, Aliyah Nicholson, of Onalaska; great-grandson, Caidyn Newman, of Livingston; great-granddaughter, Harper Cherry, of Livingston; great-granddaughter, Miya Hansen, of Leggett; numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Honorary pallbearers will include, Joe King, William Daniels, Darrell Newman, Josh Hansen, and Michael Nicholson.

A graveside service for Billy Ray Cherry will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. John Cain will officiate the service.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 29, 2013, at 5:00 PM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
