Funeral services for Billy Wayne Cox Sr. 88, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Brian Bowden officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Cox was born June 26, 1930 in San Jacinto County, Texas, to parents, William Calvin Cox and Sarah Celeste (Hendrix) Cox, and passed away May 26, 2019 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jody Wayne Cox; and granddaughter, Dana Cox.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Cox of Livingston; daughter, Bobbie Ruth Epstein of Livingston; son, Billy Wayne Cox Jr. and wife, Denice of Goliad; grandchildren, J.W. Epstein and wife, Brandi, Aaron Tyler Epstein and wife, Courtney, Elizabeth Bowden and husband, Brian, Cody Freeland, and Casey Freeland and wife, Kristin; 8 great-grandchildren; special sister-in-law, Patsy Owens of Livingston; and sister-in-law, Shirley Cox of Livingston; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
