Bill was born July 12, 1928 in Kaufman County, Tx. to Walter Dean McKee and Florence Speers McKee and the Lord let us keep him until Nov. 17, 2017.  He is preceded in death by his parents and eleven siblings.

He is survived by his wife of sixty four years, Helen Ross McKee; son, Mark McKee and wife Teri of Manvel, Tx.; son, Darien McKee and wife Darlene of Livingston; grandchildren,  Matthew McKee of Houston, Joshua McKee of Manvel and Callie McKee of Manvel; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bill served his country during the Korean Conflict.  After his service he settled in Houston and began his career with United Gas Inc. where he met his wife, Helen.  He worked for this company through many name changes and retired in Oct., 1987.

He was an ordained deacon and strong in his faith.  He was a member of Sagemont church in Houston and took great pleasure serving as a greeter for many years.
