Billy Wayne McNiel age 56 of Livingston passed away at his home Monday February 15, 2010. Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 17, 2010 at 2:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday February 16, 2010 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM also in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Billy was born March 21, 1953 in Livingston to parents Virgil Lamar McNiel and Joyce Elaine Reeves Barrington. He worked for many years as a service station attendant.

He is survived by is daughters Selena Simons of Leggett, Kathy McNiel of Lufkin, Shawna Simon of Livingston, brother Roy McNiel of Leggett, sisters Nancy Simons and husband Johnny of Livingston, Barbara Whisenhunt and husband Derral of Livingston, and grandchildren Kelly Simons, Alexis Simons, Kristofer Simons, Candice Simons, Lacie Simons, and Jasmine Simons. He is also survived by his uncles James Reeves and wife Joan of Livingston, L.C. McNiel and wife Pat of Cleveland, Larry Pinckard and wife Dene of Madirville, 7 nieces and nephews, and 18 great nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Templeton, Jessie Oliver, Derral Whisenhunt,D.J. Whisenhunt, Mike Owens, and Josh Willis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lowell Phillips, Johnny Simons, Randy Templeton, and Ed Simons.
