Funeral services for Billy Gene McPike, 74, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Pentecostal Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Joshua Carney and Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. McPike was born October 8, 1946 in Livingston, Texas, to parents, Oliver Carl McPike, Sr. and Lolar Maud (Pierce) McPike, and passed away August 22, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. He began working for the City of Livingston Electrical Department on April 11, 1977 and retired on May 31, 2011, after 34 years of employment. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Helen Loftin, Mary Ann Sullivan, and Neda Boaen; and brothers, Oliver Carl McPike, Jr. and Buddy McPike.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda McPike of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Belinda and Kip Blanton of Spring, Texas; grandsons, Lane Morris of Lufkin, Texas and Justin Norman of Spring, Texas; great grandson, Kyler Morris of Lufkin, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Judy Wells of Livingston, Texas; and sister, Mary Jane Martin of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
