Graveside services for Billy Ray Nichols, 69, of Trinity, Texas, will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Military honors will be provided by the District 4 VFW.

Mr. Nichols was born July 20, 1948 in Laurel, Mississippi, to parents, Fred Milton Nichols and Louise (Knight) Nichols, and passed away April 2, 2018 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he served in the Vietnam War and the Navy Seebee's during Desert Storm. Billy was especially proud to be raised in Laurel, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James Nichols.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Nichols of Trinity; son, Stewart Nichols of Trinity; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Shelly Nichols of Trinity; grandsons, Grayson Provost and Nathan Provost both of Willis, and grandsons, Logan Nichols and Lukas Nichols both of Trinity, Texas; along with many other relatives and friends.
