William Harvey "Billy" Poff, 53, of Coldspring, Texas was born December 4, 1971 in Portales, New Mexico and passed away November 13, 2025 in San Jacinto County, Texas. He was preceded in death by his son, Jake Poff.

Billy passed away after a life marked by hard work, love, and perseverance. A longtime resident of north Houston, he was a dedicated diesel mechanic who did everything he could to provide for his children.

Billy loved the outdoors, especially fishing and the quiet peace that came with it. He also cherished quiet evenings at home and dinners with his wife, Gina, and his son, Jake, who always said he was the best cook around. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandbabies, who brought him a kind of happiness nothing else could match.

He made the best of every situation and never gave up, no matter the challenge. Billy was a good man with a big heart, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who loved him.

Billy is survived by his wife, Gina Dare; daughters, Alysa Price and Douglas, and Emily Horton and Jacob; father and stepmother, Carey Poff and Gayle; mother, June Shipp; brother, Gary Squires and Elaine; grandchildren, Kennedy Price, Ily Horton, and Liam Horton; nephew, Blake Squires; and uncle and aunt, Archie Dean Poff and Delores; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
